Tan Tao is a newly established, not-for-profit private university, located west of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. TTU is committed to higher education following the Western model, conducted at a high international standard. Teaching of all subjects is in English. The university will provide full scholarships to talented Vietnamese students from all provinces and backgrounds upon competitive admission – regardless of means. These scholarships – which are renewable subject to performance – cover 100% tuition, food, and accommodation. Whilst the first intakes of students have been for undergraduates, TTU will evolve into a graduate and research-oriented university. TTU actively supports faculty development and research, and we seek professors to help build the institution.

All levels are considered: Assistant Professors preferred. An earned doctorate in Civil and or Structural Engineering from a reputable institution is essential. Three-year contracts, with review after one year. Twelve-hour teaching load per week with no more than two preparations per semester. Research is expected and research support is available. Foreign faculty will receive a home expenses allowance in addition to salary. The package includes health insurance, a $1500 airfare allowance, and housing at special rates.
