On behalf of ARCASIA, Vietnam Association of Architects (VAA) is pleased to release our Second Announcement to all Member Institutes in order to invite participation in the ARCASIA AWARDS 2011 / 2012.
Enclosed are the following documents for your perusal and to be circulated among your membership requesting participation.

3. Official Entry Formats.
Further, we would like to draw your attention to the following information:
a) As per the resolution adopted at the 27th ARCASIA Council Meeting held on 18th – 19th September, 2006 in Beijing, China, you may submit 02 entries from each category in all the twelve categories as per the regulations.
b) Forms B, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are to be duly filled and returned by the candidate to you.
c) Form A, declaration by the Member Institute President confirming the authorship and ownership of the submissions made, to be filled and signed by you, (the President of the Institute). Further, Item 4.3 of the form 4 also to be filled and authenticated by the submitting Institute.
d) In case of short listing of a project/(s) of your Institute Member, further details will be requested from you / your Member and the submission dead lines are as per the attachment to this first announcement.
e) Additional pages may be added to Forms, if required, provided all added pages are in A-4 size (No larger or no smaller than A-4). In case of Form 5 and Form 6, submission may contain in A-3 format (No larger or no smaller than A-3).
f) Also it was decided in the Colombo Council Meeting and confirmed in Busan that there would be an Entry Fee per Entry of US $100 to be collected and kept by the Member Institute President before he officially forwards the entry. This amount will be transfer or handed over to the Chairman of the Awards, before the Council Meeting and before the Awards are announced. In case the President of Member Institute does not hand over the total amount of all the entries sent by him to the Chairman for judgment by the Jury, the particular entry/s for which the amount has not been paid will be discarded from the Awards and not considered for the award at all. When an entry is received, it must not only be accompanied by Form A and Form B but also aCertificate of Acknowledgement of the Entry fee of $100 for each entry separately by the President of the Member Institutestating that he has received and will hand over the required amount collected for each entry to the Chairman of the Awards before the Council Meeting /Announcement and approval of the Winners.

We suggest that you immediately circulate the information among your Members, inviting them to collect the forms from you directly and submitting them back to you, well in time, so that you can authenticate them and are able to send them to us by courier / airmail to reach us before the published submission dates, complete in all respects as per the updated R&R (attached herewith).
