CIGOS 2015 – Civil Engineering (France)

Following the success of the CIGOS-2010 under the theme High-rise Buildings and Underground Structures and the CIGOS-2013 on Construction and Sustainable Development
with more than 200 participants, including 120 experts, scientists coming from Vietnam, France, US, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Tunisia, the CIGOS-2015 Conference Innovations in construction will be held on Monday May 11st through Tuesday May 12nd, 2015 at the Ecole normale superieure de Cachan in Paris, France. The conference is co-organized by the Association of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Materials (GCMM), the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE), the Ecole normale superieure de Cachan, the  Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics (ESTP) and the Ecole Centrale Paris (ECP).
Objectives
The CIGOS conference aims to:
  • bring together leading French and Vietnamese scientists, engineers from universities, industry to share their experiences and research results about all aspects of
    Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Material Engineering.
  • strengthen the relationship between French and Vietnamese companies in terms of investment, technology transfer, expertise and outsourcing.
  •  promote France and Vietnam cooperation on higher education and research.

Abstracts and papers submission
We invite to submit abstracts for twenty-minute talks plus ten-minute discussions. Suggested areas for submissions include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

  •  Modeling of structures (AMS)
  •  Materials for construction (MFC)
  •  Innovative design and methods in construction (IDM)
  •  Geotechnics for environment and energy (GEE)

Industrial applications and position papers presenting recent innovation, trends, practical challenges in the fi eld of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Material Engineering are also welcome.
Please submit abstracts of 250-500 words, in English or French, electronically through the conference email: secretariat@cigos.org, including the names and institutional
aliations of all authors on the manuscript cover page, and contact information for the corresponding author. To ensure consistency in formatting, all abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission form. The official CIGOS-2015 Proceedings Format is available at: http://www.cigos.org.
Abstracts and papers will be reviewed by experts of corresponding area. Acceptance of manuscripts for publication is based entirely on technical merit, the originality of the
work and the anticipated interest in the proposed topics.

 November 1st 2014: Noti cation of acceptance
 January 2nd 2015 : Full paper submission
 May 11nd & 12th 2015: Conference
